Look Beyond What You Can See

How often do we move through our days without noticing the evidence of God's greatness?

Psalm 104 invites us to consider creation with renewed wonder.

The psalmist describes the heavens, waters, mountains, animals, and rhythms of life as expressions of God's wisdom and provision.

Creation is not presented as something independent of God.

It reveals His sustaining care.

As we enter November and begin considering Jehovah Sabaoth, the LORD of Hosts, this psalm prepares our hearts to recognize the majesty and authority of the One we worship.

The everlasting God is not distant from His creation.

He remains sovereign over what He has made.

When we recognize God's greatness, our perspective begins to change.

A Moment to Reflect

Have the demands of daily life distracted you from recognizing God's majesty?

Today's Prayer

Lord, open my eyes to the wonder of Your creation and the greatness of Your power. As I enter this new month, deepen my reverence for You. Teach me to worship with humility, gratitude, and awe. In Jesus' name, amen.

Today's Action

Spend a few moments outdoors or near a window today.

Observe something in creation and thank God for His wisdom and provision.

Remember: The creation is magnificent, but the Creator is greater.
