Psalm 82

When God Stands to Judge, You Can Sit in Peace

There are moments when life feels unjust—when wrong seems to go unchecked and truth feels overshadowed. Psalm 82 opens with a powerful image: God standing in the divine assembly, judging rightly.

This is your reminder—you are not responsible for maintaining justice… God is.

Anxiety often creeps in when we feel the need to:

  • defend ourselves

  • correct everything

  • carry what was never ours

But Jehovah Shalom invites you into a different posture: rest.

Peace comes when you trust that:

“God is the judge of all the earth” (Psalm 82:8)

You don’t have to fix what God has already seen.

🙏🏽 Prayer

Lord, help me release what I cannot control. You see what I see—and more. Teach me to trust Your justice so I can walk in Your peace.
