Peace for the Weary, Not the Perfect

Psalm 86 is deeply personal. David doesn’t come to God polished—he comes honest.

“Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.” (Psalm 86:1)

That’s where many people miss peace.

They think:

• “I need to have it together first”

• “I should be stronger by now”

But Jehovah Shalom meets you in your need, not after it.

David asks for:

• protection

• joy

• mercy

• strength

  And he does it boldly.

  Peace isn’t reserved for those who are perfect.
  👉 It’s given to those who are dependent on God.

  🙏🏽 Prayer

  Lord, I come to You as I am—not as I pretend to be. Meet me in my need and fill me with Your peace.

  Be honest with God today. No filters. No performance. Just truth.
