God Hears the Cry You Don’t Say Out Loud
by Torrie Slaughter
The wilderness has a way of amplifying silence. Not the peaceful kind—but the kind where you’re doing all the right things and still wondering if God sees you.
Psalm 10 doesn’t rush to praise. It acknowledges the ache first. And then it reminds us of something steady and unshakable: The Lord is King forever. Not temporarily. Not circumstantially. Forever.
Healing begins when we stop assuming that unanswered prayers mean unheard prayers. God is attentive to the humble, the weary, the ones who don’t have eloquent words left—only breath.
Jehovah Rophe heals by listening first.
Yes, LORD moment:
Today, resist the urge to explain yourself to God. Simply be honest.
Action Step:
Write one sentence that begins with, “Lord, You see…” and let that be your prayer.
