Teach Me Your Paths

by Torrie Slaughter

Psalm 25 is a prayer for guidance rooted in humility. David doesn’t ask God to move faster—he asks God to teach him. This is the posture of someone who trusts God’s wisdom more than their own urgency.

Waiting becomes holy when it is filled with trust. Direction becomes clearer when pride loosens its grip. God leads those who are willing to be taught, not just those eager for answers.

Prayer:
God, I place my trust in You again today. Teach me Your ways and guide my steps with mercy and truth.

Action Step:
Before making a decision today, pause and pray: “Lord, teach me Your way here.” Then proceed with peace, not pressure.
