Psalm 33:12–22

Hope That Watches

by Torrie Slaughter

This portion of Psalm 33 is deeply comforting—it tells us that God’s eye is on those who hope in Him.

Not those who have it all together.
Not those who never struggle.
But those who hope.

Jehovah Jireh provides through watchful care. He sees. He knows. He delivers—not always immediately, but always intentionally.

Waiting doesn’t mean God is absent. According to this Psalm, waiting is often where His presence is most attentive.

Today’s Reflection:
Where has waiting started to feel like abandonment?

Action Step:
Instead of rushing ahead, whisper, “Lord, my hope is in You.”
