Day 83 Blessed to Be a Blessing
The blessing has a purpose. God reveals Himself to us so that He can be revealed through us. When we receive His grace, it is an invitation to reflect His character in how we live.

🌿 Tuesday, March 24 — Psalm 67:1–7
Blessed to Be a Blessing
by Torrie Slaughter
Psalm 67 shifts the focus from personal experience to a broader purpose. God’s blessing is not meant to stop with us—it is meant to flow through us.
“May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us.” (Psalm 67:1, ESV)
This is a familiar prayer. We often ask for God’s favor, His presence, and His provision. But the psalm does not stop there.
“That your way may be known on earth, your saving power among all nations.” (Psalm 67:2, ESV)
The blessing has a purpose. God reveals Himself to us so that He can be revealed through us. When we receive His grace, it is an invitation to reflect His character in how we live.
“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” (Psalm 67:3, ESV)
There is a shift from “me” to “all.” This psalm reminds us that our lives are part of a much larger story. God’s desire is not only to bless individuals but to draw all people to Himself.
“The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, shall bless us.” (Psalm 67:6, ESV)
When we align with God’s purpose, there is fruit. Not always immediate, not always visible—but real and lasting.
As you sit with Psalm 67 today, consider how God’s blessings in your life might be pointing beyond you. His goodness is meant to be seen.
Reflection Question:
In what ways can your life reflect God’s character so that others come to know Him?
