When Justice Seems Too Slow

David looks at corrupt leadership and calls evil what it is. This is not a tidy psalm. He is confronting injustice and appealing to God as the righteous Judge.
For us, this gives us permission to acknowledge wrongdoing without assuming responsibility for personally settling every score. Sometimes our inability to release an offense isn't because we haven't prayed—it is because somewhere inside we still believe we must make sure justice happens.

Releasing vengeance doesn't mean calling wrong right. It means trusting the Judge more than your anger.
Prayer:
Lord, You see what is unjust. Keep bitterness from becoming my response to what wounded me. I release judgment into Your hands and trust You to remain righteous. Amen.
