Sometimes, the greatest fuel for living righteously is the memory of how far we’ve fallen. Psalm 101 isn’t just a personal pledge from King David—it’s a powerful declaration of what it looks like to rise after failure and choose to live differently. If you’ve ever made a mistake, regretted a decision, or walked a path you wish you hadn’t, this psalm offers a redemptive response: walk in integrity, starting now.

David speaks as one who knows the weight of leadership and the burden of personal sin. But instead of giving up or glossing over it, he leans into accountability. "I will set no vile thing before my eyes." (v. 3) This is not legalism—it’s legacy thinking. David is teaching us that transformation happens when we get intentional. What we allow into our hearts, our homes, and our habits will shape who we become.
